1. Not Me is the figurehead mayor of a futuristic dystopia. The citizens are revolting and she has been sent into an empty, underground battlefield to write an inspiring speech to try to control the remaining civilians. She is authorized to be in areas Midnight Blue and a few others, also named after colors, all empty. After stumbling into area Orange, she discovers it to be full of large, cylindrical weapons. Shortly after entering the area, the actual people in charge appear to escort her out, saying that she does not have the security clearance to be there. She's taken above ground into an incredibly bright (there's a glass domed ceiling and nearly everything is white or reflective) mall-like area to deliver her speech.
2. A man slowly loses touch with reality. His hallucinations get increasingly worse until everyone at his dinner table (which is in a barn for some reason) all turns into the same person. His illness is revealed when he can no longer tell who is who and his family tries to help him. For some reason, this help involves some well-choreographed dancing.

Emily and I are at my elementary school on the last day of classes. A teacher has asked us to retrieve some objects from her special education students' lockers while they watch a movie (there were a few in the list, but I only remember "the red book"). FETCH QUEST TIME, BITCHES. We apparently know exactly where their lockers are and head off to get the red book. The locker is across from the lower grades' music classroom (where there were no lockers. Actually, there were no individual lockers at all at my elementary school.). We know a way to get around needing to know the locker combination (I think we set everything to zeros. It was more like a briefcase lock than a combination lock, like most school lockers have.). We retrieve the red book. It looks kind of like River Song's diary, but, obviously, red. We go to return the book. On the way back, we run into Crystal. I introduce Emily and Crystal via pointing and name-saying, but say their names backwards, saying "Emily" while pointing at Crystal and vice versa. I awkwardly correct this error. Emily decides she wants a piggyback ride, but for some reason we end up falling over. We return the red book and I wake up.

Maybe I play too many video games.
Driving to an IHSSA thing to see a friend, Matt, do a group mime. The event seems to be in the precise middle of nowhere. On the way there, I discover Sam's little sister in my backseat. When we get there, she tells me I can just leave her in the car. I see Matt's group, but Matt isn't there (I remember wondering where he was). Sam is, as are several other people I know. It seems to be less mime and more choral reading. After the performance, I see Sam. I tell her congratulations. She was walking about 20 feet in front of me, so I'm not really sure if I shouted or texted it to her. Her mom pulls up in her car and yells something like "Here comes the school bus!" I secretly judge her a little. Sam gets in the car. As I cross in front of them, having seen a gap in the red fence separating sidewalk and driveway from parking lot, I hear her mom mutter something along the lines of "maybe if I keep saying things like that, she'll start getting dressed in the morning." I remember a time where I accidentally answered a door in my pajamas. I get in my car and see that Sam's little sister is still there. She's sick. I turn on the air conditioning, but to no avail. I access a menu that looks like a combination of this screen and this screen. Using it, I note that she has the status effect "Ill" and reset her to the last time she was snowed on. It starts to snow on her in the backseat of my car. I quickly change it to the last time she was cold. Once her fever is gone, the "Ill" status goes away. I return the temperature of the car to normal.
HECK YES LUCID
In my room at Mom's house, which is dark except for my closet light, playing with my boy cat. He runs downstairs and I follow him. I see a black horse walking into the kitchen. I think to myself "Um. WTF? Must've just been the cats. Two black cats as a fast moving blur could totally look like a horse." As I walk into the kitchen, I see that it was actually a horse. At this point, I become lucid. Keeping a hand on the horse's haunch so it doesn't disappear, I attempt to change the time on the microwave clock. It changes, but not to the time I was trying to change it to. I suddenly realize that I really, really have to pee. Still not wanting the horse to disappear, I decide to bring it with me. I wake up before I actually reach a bathroom.

1. Short, sweet. 2. The exact opposite of that, with gratuitous parentheses
1. At a pet store the size of a Wal-Mart with my father, looking at fish. We see one that resembles a hand stabbing something with a knife in slow motion. That's the best description I can come up with.
2. I look at the Info page for a show. It says something like "[Name] has a disease that can only be treated in a certain section of the library." I don't recall starting the show, or even any transition at all, but the rest of the dream had TV-esque dramatic camera angles and I wasn't in all of it, so who knows.
Anyway, now it is first person, but not my, POV (I think I frequently dream in third person) of walking through a library. Arriving at the Classic Literature section, I see Will, hooked up to an IV. Not a special book-related IV. Just a normal one. One that would work anywhere, even outside the Classic Literature section of the library. I am told that he has "bing." It might have been BING, an acronym, but it was just pronounced as a word.
Back to third person. I don't think I was in this scene, either. The room is a hybrid of my bedrooms and Will's. His dad (not his actual IRL dad. In fact, he might have been my dad. Actually, I think that Will might have been my brother during this dream. I'm not sure. My subconscious clearly has some stuff it needs to work out.) walks into the room and sees Will sitting on the roof/in a tree outside, where it is cold and snowy. He says something like "Just leave me here, I don't want to burden you anymore." The father, being a father, declines Will's request to off himself and carries him inside. Will (pronouns are much less convenient when the relevant characters are of the same gender) says something along the lines of "When I die, use my body and replace me." (I seriously don't know where this all came from. No frigging clue.)
At school, a combination of the high school where I spent my freshman year and my current high school, at the end of the day. I see Kitty, who tells me that, earlier that day, he had to tackle Will to stop him from killing himself.
Still at school, I approach Will and Dan, the latter of whom looks like he has just run a marathon. I ask what happened and Dan tells me that Will tried to commit suicide while giving a speech to his class, subtle fellow that he is. He goes on to describe how he heroically marched to the front of the room and gave a rousing and inspiring speech (which, actually, I think was just the one sentence) about how "If anyone deserves to die red-faced and sweating, IT'S ME!" and then slapped himself as hard as he could to redden his face and did...something (I don't know. Ran around the classroom?) to get all sweaty. I give him a hug (because, y'know, he single-handedly stopped my friend (brother? Maybe? I still don't know.) from DYING. He doesn't smell disgusting. I hug Will, too, and now there is a sweat stain across my chest, like he was the one who had been running (maybe), rather than Dan. They make some comment about that. Will says he has to go get something before we can go home (we were waiting for our rides, I think, because possibly we were freshman. Again, I don't know.) and walks off. I try to follow him because, y'know, he already attempted suicide twice that day and I didn't want to leave him alone, but he quickly disappears into the crowd.
Now the school is empty, but I still haven't found Will. I get a text message from Will, who is apparently waiting for me at the car that says something along the lines of "We really rolled a crit with that hug, didn't we?" I guess he meant it to mean "Did you die? What is taking so long?" or something (how often do I use that word? So often.) similar. I am extremely happy that he is apparently no longer suicidal.
I leave the school and approach my mother's car. She tells me that Will is my ride home (why did she even show up if she wasn't my ride?) and gives me vague directions to his car. I start to walk towards his car.

'Sup?
1. There is some sort of Christmas pageant going on. I am involved, as is Emily and most of the cast of a play we recently worked on. I don't know any of my lines, but that's not a problem at all. Dancing occurs, people sing-shout what presents they want. Someone yells "books" and everyone throws textbooks at him. He catches them all, then tosses them in the air. One lands near me and I realize it is my math book from freshman year, also the story of a knight made of 3D polygons, kinda like the people from the universe of this show. I read the story. Possibly I became the knight at some point, but I don't really remember.
2. After a rehearsal for a music ensemble I am in, we are sitting in a classroom listening to music. "Sweet Home Alabama" starts playing and I put my head down on the back of my chair (or the front. I think I was sitting in it backwards.) Alex walks over and asks if I am okay because he thought I was crying.

Hy-di-ho there, children.
So, um, yeah.
Chinese class. Two teams. Singing contest. I think this might have been the sequel to something. The other team is a few people I don't remember, and Matthew Bellamy. My team is me, Kitty, Sam, and someone else. They perform, Matthew is flat, I find this strange. Apparently they were really good despite Matt being off. We decide we need to do something even better in order to win. Someone (Kitty? I haven't a clue.) and I sing "Are You There?" from Bare.

Hey there, boys and girls.
Bear with me here. It's not worth it, but maybe you will get some sort of sick kick out of my disturbed subconscious.
1. Not a dream, but I woke up with the question "which ancient civilization had ROUSes?" and a strong conviction that it was the Mayans.
2. It has been decided that for the play I am working backstage on (doing a job that REQUIRES full use of my arms), I must wear handcuffs. I'm sitting in my car when Brian walks up to the window to inform me of this. He explains how handcuffs work as starts he puts them on my right wrist (I do not remember why, but there was definite danger involved in this. I was at risk for losing a hand if he didn't put them on properly.) Apparently they have to click three times around my wrist (like the gas cap of a car, y'know?) or else the key won't work. After they're on, he says Marc will take them off for me.
Marc approaches, looking completely crazed and brandishing an ax. He begins chopping the crap out of my dashboard (the window is gone?) I say something along the lines of, "Uh...Y'know, Brian succeeded in putting them on without chopping my hands off, so maybe we should let him do this while he's on a roll." Marc accepts this as perfectly reasonable and walks away. Brian unlocks the handcuffs (without cutting off my hands).
Suddenly, I in a car being driven by my mother. We are giving Brian a ride home. Mom wants to drop me off and then take Brian home. I suggest maybe taking my mother home first, trying to save Brian the trouble of awkwardly sitting in a car alone with my mother. Mom eventually agrees.
3. I had to ask my history teacher several times in one class period to go to the bathroom. [TMI ALERT MAYBE YOU SHOULD STOP READING: This is odd, because I did not have to pee when I woke up. I warned you.]

They're getting stranger and more detailed.
Astronauts. There are five of us using one space suit kinda Megazord style. One of us has created a super advance robot named Cubie. Cubie says something to us and someone questions how we can hear him, as there is no air and he doesn't have a com device. The robot explains it in a perfectly scientific manner and flies ahead to meet us at our destination. Someone (we weren't very distinct from each other) shouts after him, but he doesn't hear. We prepare to follow, but someone hits the wrong button.
We plummet to Earth and land on an island, miraculously unharmed. Our only hope is for Cubie to come save us, so we shout. And shout. And shout. When Cubie's creator shouts a few times and then stops, we fall silent. After spending a couple minutes resigning ourselves to life on a deserted island, we spot Cubie. His creator explains to him that he needs to carry (as opposed to swimming. Honestly.) us, one at a time, to our destination, apparently 40000 feet (about 7.6 miles) away. He carries me off last or close to last.
Cubie takes me to school (my elementary school, but apparently the school I currently attend), apparently out destination. I spot Will and ask him where Cubie dropped him off. He tells me that Cubie took him to my mother's house.
Walking down the art/music/PE hall in the school, with CatherineM and an inordinate amount of random unimportant students. She's in the middle of saying something and concludes with, "So if anyone asks about my English birthday, that's what happened." I smile and nod as though I have been listening.

Oodles of dreams
1. Dad inexplicably has a breakfast buffet in his kitchen, including pancakes, waffles, and way too frikken many doughnuts.
2. The day of an AP exam I took last year. Elaine and Antonio(I think...) are having lunch with me at my father's house (What is it with food and my dad's house? I don't starve at Mom's...). Antonio says everyone else is at a pizza place and we need to meet them there. I make sure we have time to get there and to the exam, then we drive towards the restaurant.
3. http://www.thefuckingweather.com/ predicts rain for the next three days.
4. (This one is...fun. Reflecting, I think I'm on the Lost island.) On a beach with Somebody. Find some hair. Take it to Jesse Spencer (Not a code name. Actual Jesse Spencer. Or, more probably, Dr. Chase.) to analyze for some reason. We are followed by a baby monkey. Jesse says that the monkey's mother will be looking for it. It does, except that it is biologically impossible for it to have actually been the monkey's mother, as it is a leopard. For reasons unknown, we have to fight it off and keep it away. We succeed, but it keeps coming back with various other animal friends (like birds).
5. I have a black kitten and am playing with it in a bathroom at my mother's house.
6. (This took a little over three pages in my notebook.) I'm in Chicago with Emily. For some reason (Good lord, I use that phrase a lot. Ctrl+F it. It's on every page of entries at least once.), she is my mother (This one is even...more...fun...than the fourth one.). We're picked up by a man named "Peter" (I kid you not. There were quote marks. Not Peter. "Peter".).
"Peter" takes us to what seems to be his secret hideout, complete with retinal scanners. Inside and out, however, it looks entirely like an ordinary house (excepting the scanners). He wants me to describe my father to his counsel of retirees. I tell them he had gray hair. It was in an anime way, not in an elderly way, but they don't realize that. "Peter" decides that my father must have been one of the old men present (Phillip?). He has apparently already satisfied himself that my mother is a woman there named Valarie. The counsel discusses how they are going to get me moved in with these two people, evidently forgetting or ignoring that Emily and I are still there.
I'm not happy with this. I ask Emily if it is okay for me to tell them and she says yes. I spend thirty seconds trying to get their attention, eventually succeed and inform them that they're mistaken, these people are not my parents.
"Peter" gets excited and mentions something about creating The Ode to "The Battle Hymn of the Republic". I think Emily and I are expected to write it. He beatboxes the Battle Hymn for a couple bars, as this is apparently how he imagines our unwritten song. Basically a techno remix. Then he returns us to where he found us.
I'm driving Emily home on the highway (back in our mutual area of residence, not Chicago). She is answering questions and making clarifications because I frequently had trouble hearing "Peter".

Bare-allels (Seriously, please don't hate me)
The spring musical at school is Peter Pan. I consider auditioning, but ultimately decide not to because I don't know my vocal range. Lara gets a decent part despite sucking.
Janet gets the part of Misty as A Villain (I kid you not. That's what the playbill said. "Janet as Misty as A Villain"). She gets a solo which is part almost-Christmas-song, part vaudeville-ish (she's dancing with a cane). I remember thinking that the set sucked because it was basically a porch, with posts and rails in the way of the performance. I see Misty sitting across the auditorium and we exchange O_o faces.
Will is the only boy that auditioned or something because he is cast as every boy in the play (I'd love to see that Captain Hook v. Peter Pan, wouldn't you?). He is explaining this to me as we walk to his house. We rode the school bus to somewhere nearish my elementary school (and nowhere near where he actually lives). I was a little confused about why we were disembarking so far away from his house, but didn't question it.

Apparently my subconscious goes for quantity over quality
1. Silk Market in Beijing with Kitty, Sunny, and Sunny's grandmother. I see something I want to buy, but the latter insists on bargaining for me. Later, she is buying a bracelet for me that I wanted to give as a present. I wonder out loud what the official bracelet of China is (wtf, self?) and she and the store keeper go find it for me. Later again (at Sunny's house?), I insist on paying back the five dollars I, apparently accounting for the rate of exchange, owe her.
2. My brother wants me to please wake him up at 7:15 AM.
3. Brother's girlfriend has left several pairs of her shoes in my room. I know they aren't mine because I do not wear flip-flops. (She does this IRL. Not in my room, but she has like six pairs of shoes at my mother's house.)
4. First day of school, sitting in English class. I have not written the several essays I was supposed to write. We're turning them in online. The structure is basically "On this page, type an introduction. On the next page, upload your paper." I am trying to fake it and write a bunch of essays really fast, when the teacher sits at the computer next to me. Also, we seem to be at my elementary school.
5. The back wall and corners of my panda guinea pig's cage are collapsing. She jumps down and runs straight into a pigloo, sitting on the floor. I suggest getting a new cage.

Pardon me while I remove this layer of dust...
I don't think this was the same place as that first pair of sequel dreams, but I am somewhere with my brother and someone else and we are trying to escape. I'm not sure how I knew that, though, as we were not together. I'm crawling through a very familiar, very large room, trying to avoid mostly unseen guards. Something happened (I think I collapsed or something. Pretty sure I didn't just get caught.) and scene change! Infirmary or something like that. Doctor comments on my bruised knees, Brother teases me, saying I must have been crawling wrong. I tell him my crawling was perfectly fine, thanks. Fin.

1. Jaclynn has apparently been playing Dungeons and Dragons with my brother. A minotaur has come to life and is chasing her throughout a strange combination of my mother and father's respective houses. As she runs, I stand off to the side and casually encourage her to go to the garage, get in the car, and drive away, getting frustrated when she does not heed my advice. When she finally listens, the minotaur gets into the car before she can drive off. Suddenly, they look all happy together. I shrug and close the garage door as they drive off.
2. I'm at a movie with Ashton. An actress looks like her. I tell her that, followed by something like "or maybe you look like her, since she's older." We ponder this.
3. I was clicking my pen (I think I was nervous about something) and someone found it annoying. They snatched it out of my hand and threw it away.

The mustangs of my subconscious
At the park shelter where Emily's birthday party was held, with her, but in the dark. Soon, someone appears and is scary and menacing and creepy and all that. Later, at school with another friend, Jaclynn. We are ranting about the scary person because that person upset Emily and that is not okay. Later again, walking into the aforementioned park shelter with Will. I suppose I was nervous, because he gives me a hug. Before I go in, he says something like "Hey, you know this is completely platonic and will never be anything more, right?" Even though I did know that and have pretty much gotten over it, it kinda felt like I had been verbally slapped in the face. Fin.

These are about a week apart
1. This one is strange and goes a little something like this: My father has just died. Naturally, my entire family is very upset (including my mother. I think they might not have divorced in this dream). Mom has a camera of some sort that, through some convoluted process, can make his ghost appear. Soon, she dies. I teach myself to use the camera thing to talk to them.

I think I might have battled some gangsters for some magic toothpaste or something. In the car on the way back from that battle, I am with a dog that switches back and forth from being my dog (large) to being a dog that my dad sometimes dogsits (small). He and I are competing a little over the tube of magical toothpaste (I don't remember why it was important. I think it changed flavor, but that was not why it was important). When we arrive at my house, we go inside. He goes to his kennel to rest and I go say hello to my mother. She sends me back out to the car because I did not bring in the toothpaste. After looking to make sure the dog is still where he was, I go back out. I get the toothpaste out and notice that the dog, as my dog, has followed me. For some reason, he wants to go into the trunk of the car (which is big and open to the rest of the car and where he usually sits). I help him in because he is old. Around the side of the car, I pause to do something. The dog, as the other dog, appears and I decide to set him on top of the car because he is small and I can. He moves to the edge and I jokingly put my head against the car, like a platform on which he can stand. The dog defies the laws of physics to use me as a staircase somehow.

It's night. I have been texting my friends all night, especially Emily and Will. Very, very late (early), Emily goes to bed and I am left talking to Will. I end up not going to bed at all and just staying up pacing my room all night. I don't remember what any of the conversations were about. The light (none from the window, but the light in the closet is on and the door is open) gives the impression of 3AM, but when I look at the clock it is 9:28 in the morning. I realize I should be getting ready for school (which would have started an hour previously). Picking out clothes, I am totally unable to content myself with any outfit. Suddenly, I can't remember if I am supposed to be at the theatre where I work (in the evening on weekends). My dad comes upstairs to make sure I am awake (I am at my mother's house; my parents are divorced) and I ask him to check the schedule. He tells me he will.
I have guinea pigs. Thinking back, if my closet door was open, they and all of their paraphernalia were not present.
Earlier today, I remembered something else related to this that happened in another dream, but I don't remember it anymore.

At a local theatre where there is going to be a reunion of Grease, which I worked on there a couple years ago with Emily. It isn't the same theatre, but that doesn't really register. I'm with Katherine, but I am texting Emily that she should be there. The show starts when one man, who was in the cast and is sitting in the audience, stands up and just kinda starts singing the Rydell Alma Mater Parody. The rest of the cast stands up from where they are sitting in the house and joins in. They forget some of the lyrics, but it HAS been two or three years, so I don't really care.
Later in the show now, though not a scene that exists (something about one of the boys being gay. Like, there was a narrator singing about it.). Earlier, I was sitting at the back of the house, now I am at the front (and it is not the same theatre), but I am still with Katherine. We're either looking at a picture or watching what's going backstage (Both?) and I see someone I know from several shows. Perfectly normal. However, over the typical techie garb, he is wearing a BRIGHT BLUE leather pimp coat and hat. In hindsight, while it WAS that person, it might not have actually been that person. Like, his identity with someone else's body.
Also, I am starting to think that many of my dreams take place in the same general setting, because I can kind of recall seeing advertisements for the Grease reunion in previous dreams.
